Public Affairs Leaders Launch Political Consulting Firm

John Stineman launches Kdence—a group of political and policy professionals executing high-impact political and issue campaigns. The team is comprised of experienced and competitive professionals with backgrounds working around and within political campaigns. Kdence combines the unique backgrounds of its team to tackle issue management, strategic communications, vendor and program management, and intensive prep for candidates, political committees, and issue campaigns.

Kdence assesses the political landscape, designates target audiences, identifies new and creative strategies to reach the audiences, and uses proprietary insights to design customized winning plans for campaigns and policy initiatives across the United States.

John Stineman, who began his career as a Republican campaign organizer and managed Steve Forbes’ 2000 Iowa Caucus campaign, has managed complex national public affairs campaigns, led nationwide field organizations, advised corporate leadership, supervised scores of opinion research and message development projects, engineered pioneering market development strategies for clients, and spearheaded numerous legislative initiatives. For several years, Stineman has worked behind the scenes providing strategic consultation, debate prep, speech writing, serving in leadership roles in Republican National Convention whip operations, and providing media and messaging guidance for numerous successful candidates. He is consistently recognized by national media publications as a top Republican political influencer and has a reputation as an effective spokesman.

“Kdence will produce the results your campaign is looking for, moving your campaign closer to victory,” said John Stineman. “We have the team and experience to prepare candidates for their biggest moments and to help campaigns win.”

Joining the Kdence team is Christine Stineman who developed a reputation as one of the country’s premier public affairs campaign managers through Strategic Elements, the full-service public affairs and communications company co-founded by Christine and John Stineman servicing national trade associations and corporations. She leads some of the most high-profile field advocacy efforts from the past decade. Stineman developed one of the first digital public affairs field teams. Her pioneering efforts in online mobilization started in 2008 and earned her the role of key advisor to national advocacy organizations, building, and engaging constituencies online and offline. Stineman has been recognized with many industry awards, including Reed Awards from Campaigns & Elections Magazine, Pollies from the American Association of Political Consultants, and Peer Choice Goldie awards.

“Kdence is a full-service consulting firm aimed at executing tangible wins for elections and policy achievements,” Christine Stineman said. “Our team consists of the best of the best, and we are ready to get to work.”

Lexi Ardis, Vice President of Political, brings on-the-ground experience from Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa campaigns to the firm. Having worked for races from State House to Supreme Court to U.S. Senate and Governor, Ardis is prepared to help lead Kdence’s clients through any political situation.

“I am thrilled to join Kdence as Vice President of Political,” Ardis stated. “The Kdence team can help candidates up and down the ballot find the tactics that work best for them, and build comprehensive strategies to win.”

Jillian Newhard, whose resume includes ACT, joins Kdence as Vice President of Creative. Throughout her career, Newhard has been recognized as a trusted, collaborative leader who works successfully across multiple teams to deliver creative, results-driven solutions. She specializes in taking complex topics and creating content and visual designs to help align teams and clients around common goals and objectives.

“Kdence prides itself on finding the right solutions for our clients, no matter how out of the box they may be,” said Newhard. “I am proud to be a part of a team that puts our clients’ needs above all else.”

Former Banner Public Affairs Partner Lynn Stinson joins Kdence as Vice President of Digital & Communications. Her extensive political, public affairs, and communications background is driven by data—finding the right tactics to target the right audiences. Stinson has an eye for how to get the best results, and Kdence’s clients will benefit from this unique perspective.

“I am excited to be joining a political consulting firm that is results-driven,” said Stinson. “This team’s talent is unmatched, and our goals will be met above and beyond.”

Maura Kennedy, a former CBS and ABC news anchor and reporter, joins Kdence as Senior Director of Public Relations. With more than 15 years of experience in media, public relations, and crisis communications, Kennedy taps into the background needed to provide Kdence clients with invaluable training and knowledge of traditional and nontraditional media.

“Kdence is a one-stop-shop: our team has a wide variety of backgrounds, coming together to provide insight and preparation for our clients,” stated Kennedy, who is based in Philadelphia. “We are strong individually, but together, we are going to be a force, and that’s hard to stop.”

Kdence is proud to bring people together from across the United States to work on issues that impact American communities, big or small, and help elect political voices fighting for conservative values.
