Kevin Carpenter

Kevin Carpenter is a seasoned communications and public affairs advisor with nearly two decades of experience helping clients achieve their political and policy goals. With a knack for navigating fast-paced, high-stakes situations, Kevin helps clients decode complex issues, develop smart strategies, and deliver effective messages at local, state, and national levels. 

Kevin began his career as a legislative staffer for U.S. Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA). Kevin focused on business-related policy issues, including asbestos litigation reform; antitrust and consumer protection; retirement, social security, and pensions; banking; steel and manufacturing; and taxes. 

After his stint on Capitol Hill, Kevin also worked for two global strategic communications and public affairs consultancies – Robinson Lerer & Montgomery, and later, Finsbury – where he provided issue management and reputation counsel to well-known companies involved in some of the most complex communications challenges in recent decades, including the 2008 financial crisis, major activist and policy-driven campaigns, and one of the largest product recalls in history. Kevin was also a senior vice president at Ichor Strategies, a U.S. community engagement firm, where he led client management and stakeholder outreach, helping leaders in various industries engage more productively with local influencers to achieve their goals.  

Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in Politics and Media Studies from The Catholic University of America and lives in Washington D.C.
